Ruide original charger CD106 equipped with Qualcomm snapdragon 845 processor, the domestic first released 18W QC4 + fast charge technology charger really surprised a lot of consumers, in order to support QC4+ protocol, Ruide designed it a USB-C output interface, the output is 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A, 3.3-5.9V/2A, 3.3-11V/2A, and the maximum power is 18W, but it can literally reach 22W when it shows 11V,and such high hardware configuration is counted to have met consumers expectation.What about the specific performance of QC4+ original fast charger?

Model CD106, manufactured by Shenzhen Ruide Electronics, has a CCC mandatory certification mark and efficiency level VI mark at the bottom. The input supports 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.5A, and the output is 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A, 3.0-5.9V. /3A, 3.3-11V, 2A, a total of five sets of gear, maximum power is 18W



2 Ruide QC4+ The tests

Authoritative detection from the charger web shows: When the USB PD protocol is detected, it indicates that the charger supports the USB PD3.0 protocol and supports the PPS specification. The USB PD protocol has three fixed voltage output gears of 5V, 9V and 12V,and two fixed voltage output gears of 3.3-5.9V and 3.3-11V, and the actual output capability of the test is exactly the same as the nominal parameters.

In the mobile phone compatibility test, the original QC4+ charger can enable high-voltage fast charge mode for all major brand mobile phone devices. Under the general trend of USB PD fast charging, it has found a compromise point. The QC4+ fast charging protocol maintains the advantages of QC3.0 and is compatible with USB PD3.0, PPS specification, and beitself  but no obey the development discipline of the environment. It can be seen in the test that the performance of the CD106 is very impressive, the mainstream devices are almost compatible, and the USB PD protocol power supply is preferred during the charging process.

Silk screen 9K01 UA 1810 is Dialog's latest built-in current detection PD3.0 controller iW657P, supporting QC4+. The iW657P uses Dialog's proprietary secondary-to-primary digital communication technology. When paired with the iW1781 or 1791, only one optocoupler is needed to transmit all the required information to the primary side, including the output voltage request and output Current limit, output under voltage, output over voltage, fault and reset signal. The iW657P has an built-in optocoupler driver to reduce cost and over voltage protection on the D+/D-/CC1/CC2 pins. It can detect overheat faults with an external NTC resistor. It integrates an output current detection circuit to provide the adapter over current protection

4、Ruide QC4+Summary

CD106 is the first product in China which can support QC4+ fast charge protocol and mass production. The Ruide QC4+ charger has been eye-catching since its release.
